Entry Requirements/ Participants
This is a practical introductory course aimed specifically at the needs of primary school teachers who teach or will teach specific subjects through English and who wish to improve their competence in this area.
Participants must:
* be qualified teachers with at least two years' experience of primary teaching
* have at least an intermediate level of English
* bring samples of their own content subject materials

* Methods for supporting students’ comprehension of content material
* Techniques for dealing with vocabulary and grammar
* Ways of using spoken and written text to convey content
* Activities for encouraging student output in spoken and written form
* Evaluating, designing and adapting CLIL teaching materials
