Description of Course Contents
This course uses a wide variety of communicative activities to encourage learning by all participants. Care is taken to allow equal participation by all, including those who may be less confident in English.
By experiencing a range of teaching techniques, participants will expand their own practical classroom ideas while refreshing and developing their English language proficiency. Through the combination of vocational subject-specific and General English input, participants will leave the course feeling more confident when using English in preparing their classes and in using it in their teaching.
During the course, there is one visit to a local vocational college / training provider (TERM TIME ONLY). There can also be a local company visit relating to the vocational subject. The exact content of the course is negotiated before and throughout the course to take into account the specific needs and developing interests of each group.
Target Groups
