Galway Cultural Institute

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Our Teacher Training CLIL programme is designed for non-native English speakers who teach subjects through English and need a refresher course in teaching methodology. Upon enrollment of the programme, you will explore the principles behind Content and Language Integrated learning (CLIL) and improve your English language skills so that you will be able to teach through the language. Our staff will equip you and to extension your students with both the confidence and skills needed to deliver a broad range of CLIL-based activities inside and outside the classroom. You will gain an understanding of how to combine language and subject teaching within a practical lesson framework. Explore a wide variety of practical tasks and activities which can be put to immediate use in the classroom.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?
Our programme is designed for non-native teachers who teach subjects through English or plan to teach in English.
